Orlande de Lassus was one of the great Renaissance composers of the Netherlands School. He was extremely famous and well-traveled. His luminous Justorum animae, written late in his life, expresses deep tenderness and hope for the afterlife. We include it here as a gift for you, since it does not appear on our May 19 program.
