The Beauty of Chant - Hildegard von Bingen

In the midst of the Middle Ages in Germany, Hildegard von Bingen was one spectacular woman: a Benedictine Abbess, writer, composer, philosopher, mystic, visionary, and polymath. She wrote theological, botanical, medicinal texts, and many exceptionally beautiful chants (as well as the texts for the chants.)

The incomparable Kathy Theil seems born to sing this music, with her vocal purity and natural feeling for this music.
