Voices of Connection: 11/22 Gala Blooper! and Kern: Can't Help Singing

We had many rehearsals for our virtual Gala, and one of them involved Liz and me toasting each other with champagne. We did it several times, and I had to drink champagne each time. After a while I started to get a little tipsy and ended up “handing” Liz a glass of champagne – but in the wrong direction! Our producer/director Jake Grinstead surprised us and included this out-take in the Gala. Much fun! Jim Bassi’s fabulous arrangement of Can’t Help Singing seems to follow perfectly! – Dennis Keene
