Voices of Connection: 08/09 Fabulous Choir from South Korea!

Arirang, Korean Traditional Song - Ansan City Choir

Arirang is a very old and famous Korean Folk song, often considered the anthem of both North and South Korea. Of course, there are infinite versions of it, including this elaborate arrangement. The chorus we hear today is the Ansan City Choir, one of the finest professional choruses in South Korea. They have toured all around the world under the direction of Dr. Shin-Hwa Park. I find it interesting to see their presentation, and they sound terrific. There are some beautiful soprano voices in that section!
