Voices of Connection: 02/19 Palestrina: Exaltabo Te

This is one of my absolutely favorite Palestrina motets. One beautiful section after another, such soothing vocal lines, each one totally satisfying alone. But then Palestrina combines all these individual parts into a common sonority which is so harmonious and graceful. This was Palestrina’s great gift!
