Voices of Connection: 04/18 Sir Charles Hubert Hastings Parry: Blest Pair of Sirens

Usually we share pieces on the shorter side for your morning pleasure. But this is a weekend, so let’s have some fun and offer a more extended piece – the grandest of grand British Cathedral anthems. It starts with a marvelous, long organ introduction, then the choir comes in, and off we go through a fabulous choral journey that leads to a truly glorious, radiant conclusion. This came from a live concert of British music we did in 2016. We’ll be sharing more of that concert in the days to come!
