Voices of Connection: 01/03 Sicut Cervus and a Thank You

Today we share again the very first Voices of Connection post. When we started this project on March 3, we had no idea how much it would come to mean to so many people. Thank you for all of the donations large and small that came with heart-felt notes in appreciation of our daily connections.

“I know my donation is only small but I wanted firstly to make a contribution to help keep you going during these tough times. And secondly get in touch so that you know what your emails and music have meant to me… I work from home now and every morning, I listen to one of the clips you have sent round and it’s a moment of peace and calm in my day.”

“Many thanks for continuing the daily messages which have featured works I know AND new ones as well. I particularly enjoyed the Granados as well as repertoire from more modern American composers/arrangers. Please continue!”

Thank you again for your comments. It means a great deal to us to know you are enjoying this project. We will continue to share a daily moment of choral beauty with you in the coming months as we expand Voices of Connection and invite more guest curators to share their favorite choral music with all of you. And don’t forget, you can make a request by sending an email to wchinn@voicesofascension.org. Let us know what YOU want to hear! – Dennis Keene
