We have a whole Delos recording of the music of this great Medieval mystic. But, instead of playing a selection from that very beautiful CD, I chose to put on this video from a live performance we gave last year at The Brick Presbyterian Church. I find it interesting that, taking place right on busy Park Avenue, the audience at first shifts in their seats and you can hear those noises. But, after a very short time, no one is moving. They are caught up in the transcendent, peaceful world of this special music. You will notice that I am not conducting the sopranos. They are making this art all by themselves. And what beautiful art they made! Thank you so much, dear sopranos.
