Voices of Connection: 04/22 Bernstein: Chichester Psalms - Movement 2

I love the middle movement of the Chichester Psalms generally because of the juxtaposition of innocence and violence - but this particular performance was stellar because Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen was sublime. In May 2018, as his opera career was taking off, he was the perfect "hometown-boy-makes-good" with lots of his former colleagues and mentors in the audience, including Matti Lazar. It always makes me happy to see venerable artists joyfully supporting the next generation.
