Voices of Connection: 06/11 Pablo Casals: Eucaristica

Pablo Casals was one of the most revered cellists in history. But he also was very special composer. We have performed many of his pieces which he wrote for the Boy Choir at the Monastery in Montserrat, Spain. Eucaristica was written in Catalan. This unique, very deeply-felt piece speaks of having one’s spirituality “deep in my heart.” This personal song indeed creates a deep, peaceful, spiritual place for the listener to enter. I hope it brings that to you today.
