Voices of Connection: 08/26 Vivaldi Magnificat

This came from our last “pre-COVID” live concert back in January. Seems like a lifetime ago! I love Vivaldi and the Venetian color his music has. This Magnificat is seldom performed, but I think it is one of his finest pieces. What a marvelous parade of delightful, varied, short movements. Each one has such a distinct, sharp musical profile – and then it’s done. We were lucky to have some wonderful soloists! Bravi!
